This is what La República has to say about us:

Bogotá Auctions opens its 2024 calendar with an auction featuring over 200 exceptional pieces of books, documents, and antique maps. The main lot includes a handwritten letter by Simón Bolívar from 1827 and the rare first edition of Gabriel García Márquez's "La Hojarasca," published in 1955. The collection offers documents regarding the Royal Botanical Expedition and rare scientific works by José Celestino Mutis on quinine. Historical engravings and maps by Alexander von Humboldt are also featured, along with signed first editions by literary figures such as Jorge Luis Borges and Fernando González. This event aims to promote private collecting as an essential tool for the rescue and conservation of Colombia’s historical and bibliographic heritage.
